Are you interested in learning more about software development? Do you want to build tools that help your fellow Berkeley students?

The Connect@Cal (https://connected.berkeley.edu/) team is looking for students who want to make a positive impact on campus as well as learn tangible and important skills for software engineering.

Our tech team is currently composed of 11 members. We pride ourselves on building the best software possible that helps others. Some of our members have built features for millions of people while working for Amazon, Etsy, and GitHub.

Project Descriptions

🤩 Role

For this role, you’ll design, implement, and ship meaningful software that will help hundreds of students get connected with resources. For your first few weeks, you’ll be paired with a more experienced developer and you’ll both work on tackling various tasks together.

🔒 Requirements

• Has a “growth mindset” when tackling challenging problems with unknown solutions.
• Has worked on projects where you've programmed most of it (ex: hackathons, research, internships, etc.).
• Experience with object oriented programming.
• Experience with debugging a full stack application.
